SCHOOL CURRICULUM - The School follows the curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), New Delhi.

COURSE OF STUDY

• For Nursery & K.G. classes : School strictly adheres to the activities based on Play-way method of teaching with all modern educational aids like Smart classes.
• For Class I to V : English, Hindi, Math, Science and Technology, Environmental Science/Social Science, Computer Science, Art & Craft, Music (Vocal & instrumental), General Knowledge & Value Education.
• For Class VI to VIII: All the subjects mentioned above along with Sanskrit as third Language.
• For Class IX & X:
  • Scholastic Area - English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science.
  • Co-Scholastic activities- Work Education, Art Education, Health and Physical Education(Sports/Martial Arts/Yoga), Dance, Music.

FOR SENIOR SECONDARY-CLASSES XI AND XII:

• • Science Stream: Medical & Non-Medical Subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Computer Science ,Painting, Music .
  • Commerce Stream: English, Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Mathematics, Entrepreneur, Computer Science, Informatics Practices, Painting, Music .

Note: Health and Physical Education, General Studies and Work Experience are compulsory for all the streams.

2. SCHEME OF EXAMINATION -

NUR to II - There are four cycles of Assessment each of 25 marks in one Session. The Assessments cover both the Scholastics and Co- Scholastics areas through written exam. Note Book Submission, Subject Enrichment Activities, Projects and Class response including orals spread over the year.

III to VIII - The assessment covers both the Scholastics and Co- Scholastics areas through Two Term Examinations i.e Term-1 and Term-2 . Each Term consists of 20 Marks Periodic Assessment (10 Marks written Periodic Test + 5 Marks Notebook Submission +5 Marks Subject Enrichment Activities) and 80 Marks Half Yearly Exam.

IX to X - The examination in class IX & X would be conducted as per the remodeled assessment structure given by C.B.S.E. The new assessment consists of Scholastics areas and Co- Scholastics Activities.

In Scholastic area for class IX/X, 80 marks Final Examination /External Board Examination will be conducted in the month of march and 20 marks internal assessment will be conducted at school level. Internal Assessment will be consisting of 3 Periodic tests each of 10 Marks in each subject in an academic year along with 10 marks internal assessment consisting of Notebook Submission of 5 Marks and Subject Enrichment Activity of 5 Marks. The average of the best two Periodic tests i.e 10 marks will be taken for final marks submission to the final Exam./Board Exam.

Student has to secure 33 % marks to pass the class in each subject in the Board/Final Examination as well as in internal assessment also. The report card for class X will be issued by theC.B.S.E.

XI & XII - There will be written Examinations as per given schedule in the calendar. Unit Exam, ASL, Half Yearly Exam. Followed by Pre-Board / Annual Exam./ Board Exam.
